Research and Development Experimental station Quality Control

Zhejiang Michael Electric Co., Ltd Test Centre was set up in 2015. There are 14 employee including 3 managers and 11 test staffs. The Test Centre covers an area of 700m2 which including 550m2 for testing. The main equipment is nearly 5 million RMB.

The parent company

Zhejiang Michael Electric Co., Ltd is one of the largest electric manufactures in China.
The Test Centre owns a 10kA Short-circuit Breaking Test Station, 10 basic routine testing rooms which including performance characteristic testing for low voltage electrics, environmental testing laboratory, physical and chemical testing laboratory, life testing laboratory etc. and 94 sets test equipment to carry out the testing such as mechanical life, electrical life, performance characteristic, temperature rise, environmental testing and EMC testing etc.

The quality policy of the Test Centre is: Scientific Method, Fair Act, Accurate Result, Timely Work.
The Test Centre was certified by the CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) in 2012 for the related testing according to below the standards:

GB 10963.1 Electrical accessories - Circuit-breakers for overcurrent protection for household and similar installation Part 1: Circuit-breakers for a.c. operation (the similar standard is IEC 60898-1)

GB 16916.1 Residual current operated circuit-breakers without integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses (RCCB) Part 1: General rules (the similar standard is IEC 61008-1)

GB 14048.2 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 2: Circuit-breakers(the similar standard is IEC 60947-2)(the similar standard is IEC 61008-1)

GB 14048.3 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 3: Switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units
After certified by the CNAS, the Test Centre successfully passed the inspection from TUV Rheinland and DKERA and became their cooperative testing laboratory. The test qualification can be found on the IECEE website by the reference No. OD-CB2019.
